Timberline is a family owned, British manufacturing company.
Originally established in 1993, the company has signficantly grown since its early, humble beginnings. The Founder originally set up the company as a means of supplying his wife's nursery school and as the business rapidly expanded, he was soon joined by his two sons. The company is still 100% owned by the family and operates from a manufacturing facility in Derbyshire, UK. They do not outsource any production work and never intend to.
The product range has become ever more extensive and as well as their traditional play equipment , they also produce outdoor buildings which cater for different needs for different markets. In the UK they supply the commercial and educational markets. These include all age-range schools both state and private, urbanisations, camping sites, restaurants, garden centres, local councils and hotels.
Over the past five years, their turnover has increased each year by an average of 35%. Undoubtedly this business has expanded, the secret of their success - in a nutshell, is they simply just keep on listening to their customers.
